I’ve got a lot coming up as we head into 2011. Most of it I can’t tell you about… yet.
One thing I can let you in on is that a reading of Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them will be presented as part of the National New Play Network’s December Showcase in Denver, CO. The showcase features plays from which the NNPN selects a candidate for a rolling premiere in the 2011 – 12 season. That means multiple theatres throughout the United States producing the selected play. It’s an exciting opportunity and one I’m proud (and lucky!) to have.
You can read about the showcase on the NNPN website.
A second thing I can tell you is: GO TO THE 2011 HUMANA FESTIVAL OF NEW AMERICAN PLAYS!!! I am one of the five writers collaborating on this year’s Anthology Project. The theme this year is (the) Apocalypse and there’s a wonderful team of acting apprentices who will be bringing our words to life. We’ve already had one workshop together with another following in December. Considering what we’ve come up with so far, you’re in for a treat!
More to come! All my best till then.
