I mentioned previously that I was writing for this year’s Anthology Project for The Actors Theatre of Louisville’s Apprentice Company in the 2011 Humana Festival of New American Plays, and then said there was more news to come. Well, here it is!
Edith Can Shoot Things and Hit Them is also having it’s World Premiere at the Festival from March 11 – April 2, 2011. The show will be in the Bingham Theatre (in the round!) and directed by the ever lovely May Adrales. Check out the full Festival info here, and check out the schedule for Edith and buy tickets here. Tickets go on sale to the general public on November 12.
Articles about the full festival lineup can also be found in Variety, Playbill, Theatermania, and the Louisville-Courier Journal. The Courier-Journal article includes a lot of insight from the artistic staff about all of the plays, including Artistic Director Marc Masterson and Director of New Play Development Adrien-Alice Hansel.
Will I be seeing you in Kentucky?
